healthy = Happy
Healthy employees may not necessarily translate to happier or more productive staff. Its hard to isolate and measure both employee health and employee efficiency which in turn makes it difficult for companies to justify cost of Tenacity platform and its ability to increase productivity
Reliable tracking
Activity trackers and smartphones are getting more advanced every day, but they are not perfect. Exercises like lifting weights still rely on a degree of manual data input which opens the door slightly for users to inaccurately record their progress or forget to enter data.
Privacy
Activity trackers offer great insights into a users lifestyle, but that information is personal and may not want to be shared. Employees may not be comfortable letting management see how they eat, sleep and exercise so privacy settings will be important. (i.e challenges where management cant see performance data unless the contests have been completed successfully)
INCENTIVES = adoption
Although proven successful for most, some employees who lack the desire to live healthier lifestyles may not be motivated to change habits with a rewards based model. Larger factors my be root cause of unhealthy employees that rewards incentives may not overcome.
